The command prefix for all commands on Khaeros is the dot character (.), this means that every command begins with a dot. In order to use a command simply say it in-game. In this list, the command will be written in bold, and the explanation following it in normal text. Some commands have arguments (what comes after the space e.g. ”.command argument1 argument2”) and these will be in bold in order to prevent confusion.

Player-Related Commands

  • .Hunger Opens up a small gump which displays your current hunger & thirst levels.
  • .CharInfo Opened automatically upon login, it displays custom information about your character that cannot be found on the game's default status window.
  • .Level Displays your character's current level, experience points and character points for quick reference in case you do not like to keep the character info window open.
  • .Resists Used to check your character's resistances in case you do not like to keep the character info window open.
  • .StatPoints Allows you to spend the stat bonus points you receive upon leveling.
  • .Look Allows you to see an item's or a character's description, or (upon targeting yourself) change your own description, or (upon targeting an item) add a description to an item you have crafted. Additionally, you can also change the description of your followers this way.
  • .Carry Allows you to carry an unconscious player in your arms as long as you can withstand the weight.
  • .Birthday Once you complete your character's creation, this command can be used to remind you of your character's birthday.
  • .Backgrounds Displays the merits and flaws you have taken during the creation process for further reference.
  • .Time Displays the current in-game time.
  • .SpeakLanguage Changes your current spoken language to another known language to your character.
  • .LieDown Allow your character to lie on the ground. Use it again to stand up.
  • .RollDice Allows you to roll up to 10 dice of up to 100 sides.
  • .Reforge Displays the number of reforges available to the character. Further allows the player to use a reforge by typing 'yes' or cancel by typing 'no'.
  • .List feats Displays a list of all feats, and their levels, that a character has taken.
  • .E Opens a gump that allows the player to select from a variety of different emotes. The player may also type .e followed by the emote name to achieve the desired effect. Ex: .e giggle.
  • .Pervsounds Opens a gump that allows the player to select from a variety of sounds to be utilized by their character.
  • .AddAtmosphere Use this command to spawn an atmosphere tile in your backpack. By following the prompts you may change an atmosphere description or time interval for activation. Please note that you may only have one tile per character and must lock this down like a normal item.
  • .HeightWeight Opens up a gump that displays your current height and weight in petrae and in the metric and standard systems.
  • .Organizations Opens up the organizations gump. By typing .organizations Empire/Etc you would automatically bring up that Organizations information.
  • .Title Deactivates your current organizational title and returns it to the default.

Item-Related Commands

  • .Grab Allows you to take possession of certain static items left in the world by the staff to be grabbed by players.
  • .DiscardLiquid Allows you to discard the liquid from the targeted water container (pitchers, potions, etc). If you target a non-water container (bag, chest, etc) it will instead empty all the water containers present inside.
  • .Sheathe Left/Right Waist/Back Allows you to sheathe the weapon or shield currently in your hand. The first argument (Left) controls which item you want to sheathe (left means in your left hand, and right means right hand). Two-handed weapons are always considered to be in the left hand. The second argument (back) controls where you want to sheathe the item. Options are back and waist, and you will need the appropriate sheath in your inventory (made by tailors).
  • .Unsheathe Waist/Back Allows you to unsheathe a weapon that is currently sheathed either behind your back, or at your waist (change Back to Waist in that case) and immediately equip it.
  • .BandageSelf Automatically applies bandages to your character.
  • .Split Allows you to split stacks in two.
  • .CraftContainer Allows you to specify a container within your backpack that completed crafting items will automatically go into.
  • .Loot Allows you to target a corpse and automatically pick up any coins or reward tokens on its body. Note that currently, only the person that has killed the animal or mob is allowed to .Loot it.

Skill-Related Commands

  • .AdvancedDying You are able to obtain a few hues to dye clothing with. [10-30 hues]
  • .Attack Circular Perform a Circular attack on all Foes within Melee Weapon Range
  • .Backstab A vicious attack from the back flank or back of the victim, dealing large amounts of damage. [This attack replaces your weapon's raw damage by 15-25 for one attack. You must be hidden and behind the victim's back, or at the back flank to succeed. Weapon damage bonuses still apply.
  • .BiteCoin Verify Currency. Having spent some time in the trade business you have the chance to discern fake coins from real ones. [5-100% chance]
  • .BleedingStrike Being well-trained in anatomy, the assassin is able to strike his opponent in a vital area, causing them to bleed profusely. [Makes the victim bleed for a short duration, damage increases per level.
  • .Charge Commence a Charge attack. Stopping the run will cease the attack. Correct positioning is to be on top or to the same side of the enemy that you are currently holding the weapon on in your Paperdoll.[Takes a lot of practice to get the angles of attack correct.]
  • .CraftingSpecialization Raises EO/MW Creation rate of Selected Craft, Lowers Chance on other Crafts.
  • .CripplingBlow You are able to cripple your opponents and prevent them from running or knock them off their mounts. [Lasts 1.5-4.5 seconds, freezes creatures, dismounts riders]
  • .CripplingShot You are able to cripple your opponents and prevent them from running. [Lasts 1.5-4.5 seconds, freezes creatures, dismounts riders]
  • .CriticalShot You know where to shoot your arrows so that they really hurt. [7-21 bonus damage]
  • CriticalStrike You know where to hit with your weapon to inflict massive damage. [7-21 damage bonus]
  • .CureFamine Replenishes thirst and hunger of all allies within five squares. Costs 20 mana.
  • .Curse The curse cast by this spell will reduce a creature's hit points, stamina and mana for some time. [Debuffs hits, stamina and mana by 5-15% vs creatures and 2.5-7.5% vs player characters]
  • .CutPurse This skill will allow you to steal a player's coinpurse without having to snoop first. [There is a chance rolled against your current skill as a Rogue in pickpocket to see if the ability is successfully performed.]
  • .DefensiveFury When you take enough beating you become enraged, launching yourself in to a battle frenzy. [+2-6 damage ignore, +10-30 bonus hit points, +5-15% defence chance, -5-15% hit chance. When you finish raging you will get a penalty of 1-3/6 of your stamina and lose the hp bonus]
  • .Disguise upon acquiring the final level in Disguise, you are granted the ability to disguise your character completely, to the extent of making new personas and saving said disguises so you can refer back to them at a later point. Additionally, you will be able to change your title and title prefix.

    • .ListDisguises - Lists all Currently Saved Disguises. Able to save and load 6 different Disguises
    • .LoadDisguise <X> Loads a Pre-saved Disguise. X is replaced by number 1-6
  • .Enamel You know how to mix hues in to metal during the process of crafting items. [10-30 hues]
  • .EngravePottery - Create Unqiue .Looks for Pottery
  • .EnhancePotion - This skill will allow you to enhance the power of your potions. [+20-60% more effect] Has a Chance to Fail and delete Potion.
  • .Feint - When activated, the next attack will be feigned (i.e. only animation, no effect). This 'attack' will not cause a delay, so if the opponent attempts to parry the feigned attack, the player can initiate a real attack right off the bat. Should you get an attack of opportunity while performing a feigned attack (e.g. the enemy turns their back) the attack will become real and hit them. [2-1 times slower animation for the feigned attack]
  • .EyeRaking - You know how to viciously attack your opponent's eyes, blinding them temporarily. [Target is blinded for 2-6 seconds and suffers -50% Hit Chance]
  • .FightingStyle - When using his chosen combat style, the weapon specialist gains some bonus damage for every successful hit and parry, but loses some of it if his attacks are parried or he gets hit. The bonus cannot go below 0%, or above 45%. If 20 seconds elapse after the last bonus/penalty, the bonus is removed. [3-9% damage gain, 3-9% damage loss]
  • .FlashyAttack - This maneuver adds an additional attack. Once your original attack lands, or is parried, the second attack commences right away automatically, in the best direction (but still different from the first strike) according to the weapon in your hands.
    If there are no other directions than the current one, the skill will not work (for example, using swing-only weapons on a horse). [The second attack will deal 20-60% of total damage]
  • .FlurryOfBlows - You are able to move quicker in combat, sacrificing damage for speed and accuracy. [-3-9% dmg +5-15 Hit Chance +5-15% Weapon Speed]
  • .ForgeCopper -Forge Copper Coins from tin coins.
  • .ForgeSilver -Forge Silver Coins from tin coins.
  • .ForgeGold - Forge Gold Coins from tin coins.
  • .FocusedAttack - You take your time to aim a blow, sacrificing speed for damage and accuracy. [-3-9% speed +5-15% Hit Chance +5-15% dmg]
  • .FocusedShot - You take your time to aim a Shot, sacrificing speed for damage and accuracy. [-3 -9% speed +5-15% Hit Chance +5-15% dmg]
  • Geld - Gelds a Male Pet making him unable to bred.
  • .GemHarvesting - You are able to find gems while gathering resources. [Miners can harvest citrines, tourmalines, amethysts, rubies, emeralds, sapphires, star sapphires, and diamonds. Lumberjacks can harvest amber]
  • .HailOfArrows - You are able to knock a multitude of arrows on your bow and shoot them at the battlefield. [You will shoot 1-3 additional arrows that will hit a random target near your primary one and deal half damage. Allies are not affected]
  • .HairStyling - Change Hairstyle of selected target. Must be Human and Must wear a Hairstyling Apron to work.
  • Intimidate - you yell and grimace at your opponent, scaring them and causing them to fumble their current attack or defense, while still being delayed as if they had completed it, thus giving you ample time to act. This cannot stop defensive formation or charge. [25-75% chance of success]
  • .JudgeWealth - This skill will give you a rough estimate of the amount of coins a player is carrying. [Lets you know whether target has more or less than 100 copper.]
  • .Mark - Marks a Player target to be able to track using .TrackMark. [Must have 3 Ranks in Tracking for this ability.]
  • .MassSmelt - Smelts all Armor/Disassembled Weapons in the targeted Bag.
  • .MasterworkEquip - Sets the Values of all EO/MW to obtain upon creation other than Weapons. 3 Points to be distributed amonst Attack and Defensive Values. EO Doubles value. MW Triples value.
  • .Mate - Causes a Male and Female animal of the same Breed to mate and cause Pregnancy. .CheckLevel will display time till Fawn is born.
  • .NameEquip - Names an EO Clothing/Jewelry or a MW of any type.
  • .NoDisguise - Removes any Disguise you have loaded.
  • .OffHandThrow - You use the offhand command and if you have a spare hand you will throw a dagger/throwing axe from your craft container. Deals 50% damage but does not require Dagger/Throwing axe to be Equipped.
  • .PetStealing - This skill will allow you to steal an animal that has been hitched to a post for longer than 15-5 real life days.
  • .PureDodge - By doing risky moves, you increase the effectiveness of your dodge, but ignore all bonuses from clothes. [+2-10% to all physical resists]
  • .Rage - Firing up your blood you rage in to combat, attacking the enemies without any thought of injury. [+7.5-22.5% damage and speed, +10-30 hp bonus, -5-15% Defence Chance, +5-15% Attack Chance. When you finish raging you will get a penalty of 1-3/6 of your stamina and lose the hp bonus]
  • .RetrainPet - After taking this skill, you will be able to reassign the points of 1-3 of your creature's skills into other skills (only works on creatures bred after this skill was taken).
  • .RopeTrick - You can use your rope to lasso someone. [1-3-second delay before the effect. Range 2. 40-60% chance to hit. Lasts for 1.5-4.5 seconds. Ress-sick players will always be lassoed and will only be able to break free when they are no longer ress-sick.]
  • .SavageStrike - You can lunge at the opponent, swinging at them with such savagery that your attack is hard to parry. [+10-30% HCI]
  • .SaveDisguise - Saves a Disguise that you have on currently. Using a Number after the Command will save it to that slot. Able to save to 1-6 slots.
  • .Say - Works with Pets automatically, Requires Ventriloquism to make objects and other Player mobiles to say your words. Use with caution.
  • .SearingBreath - Your attacks follow the teachings of the dragon spirit, lowering your defenses but allowing you to dispatch your enemies with brutal, if slow, force. [+15-45% Damage, -10-30% Speed, -5-15% Defense Chance]
  • .SecondWind - Heals a certain ammount of Damage in preportion to Max HP and causes constant damage afterwards untill Healed damage is taken away. Has a Seperate timer till useable again. Use command to Use, or Check timer left untill Next use.
  • .Attack ShieldBash - Using your shield, you bash your enemy, dealing damage and slowing their attacks. This attack cannot be parried. It will count as an attack with the speed of 1 second. This attack will also change the opponent's target to you. Animation (connect) speed is determined by Parry skill. The damage dealt does not go through any kind of directional percentage (i.e. it deals 100% damage). Damage type is blunt. This attack can only be used on foot. [1-3 base damage, -10-30% weapon speed reduction for 6 seconds]
  • .SilentHowl - Learning the art of the predator means learning patience and planning, which you use to great effect. [+3-9% Attack Chance, +3-9% Defense Chance, +3-9% Speed, +3-9% Damage]
  • .Stash - This skill will allow you to keep one secret stash that will last for up to 5-15 real life days.
  • .Student - Turns on student mode to be taught a a player with the .teach skill. When turned off will take -30- Minutes to regain ability to gain XP/CP from other sources.
  • .StunningBlow - Having extensively learned about weak points, you know where to hit in order to temporarily paralyze your opponent. [On hit, target is paralyzed for 1.5-4.5 seconds]
  • .SwiftShot - You know how to fire your weapon rapidly, sacrificing damage for speed and accuracy. [-3-9% dmg +5-15% Hit Chance +5-15% Weapon Speed]
  • .SwipingClaws - You have learned how to move like the jaguar, attacking blindingly fast without regard for tactics or strategy. [+15-45% Speed, -10-30% Attack Chance, -5-15% Defense Chance]
  • .Taste- Allows you to taste a potion in order to determine its effects and side-effects. You need Alchemy and Herbal Lore for this to work. The more skill your character possesses, the more effects they can figure out.
  • .Teach - Allows you to teach from 1-6 players up to level 10-50 depending on Rank of Teaching/Professor. Target must have typed .student to be accepted. Using .clearstudentlist will stop teaching session. Must wait 30 minutes after the end of the teaching session to gain XP/CP from another source.
  • .Technique <X> - Through your Martial Arts studies, you have learnt how to change the kind of damage you deal with your fists, being now able to even cut or pierce through flesh. [can change 50-100% of the damage you deal to Slashing or Piercing, rather than just Blunt]
  • .TempestuousSea - Staggering about like a drunken seaman on deck in a storm, not your enemies nor yourself can predict your moves. [Random Bonuses Between -15-45% and +15-45% to all combat statistics.] Note:These bonuses change each time you enter the Tempestuous Sea.
  • .Throw - Causes you to throw the item in your Right Hand.
  • .ThunderingHooves - Closing your defences your fists become like a warhorse's hooves. [+15-45% Defense Chance, -10-30% Damage, -5-15% Attack Chance]
  • .TravelingShot - You are able to fire off your bow or crossbow while on the move. [50-0% speed penalty]
  • .VenomousWay - Like the spiteful serpent, you strike with deadly force and no regard for your safety. [+15-45% Attack Chance, -15-45% Defense Chance]
  • .Vis - Puts or Takes Selected target onto/off of your Vis List. Allowing you to Stealth around them.
  • .VisClear - Clears all people added through the .vis command.
  • .VisList - Shows all people added through the .vis command.
  • .WeaponSpecialization - You focus exclusively in one weapon, becoming deadlier and deadlier with it. [+7.5-22.5% Damage and Speed with chosen weapon, -7.5-22.5% with all others]Is possible to have -2- Weapon specs with the "Second Specialization" feat. Same effects.
  • .WoodStaining - You are able to obtain a few hues to use with wood staining. [8-24 hues]
  • .Wound - Only Usable by players with the Hardcore Background. Will give target a Grievous wound.Can only be used once a RL day. Should be used with extreme Caution. After a set amount of sustained wounds the target will indeed die a permanent death. A valid RP reason must be noted at the time of review, if a player does indeed request one.

Combat Commands

    • .Spar Allows you to restrict yourself to dealing 1 point of damage while fighting. This only applies to melee attacks.
    • .AddAlly Used to add another character, be it a player or a pet, to your ally list. This will prevent them from being hit by some of your special attacks, such as Cleave and Hail of Arrows, as well as ensure that they will receive XP and CP when you defeat a creature near them.
    • .RemoveAlly Used to remove a character from your ally list.
    • .ClearAllyList Used to remove all characters from your ally list.
    • .CombatAlerts Used to toggle between showing all combat alerts and only relevant ones.
    • .AutoCombat Toggles between enabling and disabling the Autocombat system.

OOC Commands

    • .MyIcons Allows you to set up macros for commands in the form of floating icons. Useful for any misc macros you don't want plaguing your keyboard.
    • .Password <123> Changes your account's password (123 being an example of a new password).
    • .FreeForRP Allows you to add/remove yourself from the list of characters currently online and available for RP.
    • .LookForRP Lists the current online characters looking for RP and, if there are any, it will prompt you to type the name of one of them. Type it as it shows, with caps when relevant and whatnot, then hit enter. You will receive a tracking arrow to the character's direction, along with the information of how far they are at the moment. If the character toggles their .FreeForRP off, you will lose the arrow.
    • .CheckSpeed Displays your modified attack speed in seconds. This takes into account all of your passive feats, stances, etc. It is especially useful for checking if your speed is capped.
    • .CheckKnockTime Displays the current Knock time of your ranged weapon. Knock time is the ammount of time one must stand still before the ranged weapon can fire.
    • .FixMe Forces the server to resend all draw info to you to restore synchronization. Use it when frozen for no reason or when unable to walk to a certain direction, etc.
    • .ChangeName For use while in the character creation chamber to set a name longer than Ultima Online defaults.
